Unfortunately i had to put my 15 year old Lab to sleep the other day. It was one of the saddest days of my life. I will miss her soooo much. I had adopted her eight years ago after she retired from being a guide dog and I believe I gave her a really good home to spend her retirement in. She enjoyed hanging out in my yard and going for walks. She was always waiting for me when I came home from work. We were bonded to each other. This pic was taken a few months after we moved into the new house with the big yard. We have lots of trees in the yard and spend a lot of time in the fall outside raking up leaves.
This was the last vacation she went on with me. we went up to New hampshire and Vermont. This pic was taken of us visiting the Dog Chapel in Vermont. She had a lot of fun on this trip. We went hiking and she ran around with a bunch of dogs she met at the place we were staying. My baby... I will miss her greatly. RIP Berrybear.
